These three braved the cold for my first session of 2018. We were having some awfully cold temperatures in PA throughout January, but Sarah, Justin, & Brady made this session look as warm as possible! Brady was such a trooper and put on his big old smile the whole time he was in front of the camera!
We all met at one of my favorite spots, Preston Park in Butler. I grew up in Butler and lived in Meridian for a period of time. This is where I would hang out with friends, go on the occasional run, and one of the places where I really started taking pictures. I even had my own engagement photos done there! Preston Park is gorgeous and has so many options for photo opportunities. It has stunning trees and wooded areas, open fields, flowers everywhere in warmer weather, ponds, docks, trails, and a few buildings with incredible texture. I utilized the front section of the park right near the parking lot so nobody would freeze too badly!
We started underneath the trees on a wooded path. The lighting was amazing and the colors it created were super rich. Sarah, Justin, & Brady tried to stay warm by exchanging some tickles and laughter in the moments in between! We then made our way to one of the old garage buildings that has peeling paint and a deep red coloring. After that we ventured to another old building that has beautiful dark wood. We ran into the field surrounded by massive trees, mostly to get warm! After snapping a few photos we ended in front of a natural backdrop of vine and old burnt orange leaves.
These three were adorable and so easy to work with! It was the perfect was to start my season! Thanks to these guys for having me take your photos!
